POSITION SUMMARY

We need a Contract Recruiter for a short term assignment.  This position will be responsible for following an established recruiting process to provide full-cycle recruiting services to support the business needs of the company.  The ideal candidate will have experience with full-cycle recruiting as well as a history of successful contract recruiting assignments.

RESPONSIBILITIES

§  Sourcing candidates, reviewing resumes, screening candidates; effectively marketing and selling company to job candidates

§  Scheduling on-site interviews between applicants and hiring managers

§  Checking references, negotiating offers and preparing offer letters

§  Organizing and storing resumes to assure compliance with document retention laws; using the company’s applicant tracking system

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

This person will have a key role in the development of the annual budget and monthly forecasts for the client company.  Carry out investment appraisals for all projects undertaken by the company. This person will be also be responsible for updating, on a monthly basis, the company’s financial model by keeping abreast with changes occurring at the company level.  In addition, this person will be part of a team who analyzes, and reports monthly financial results to the management team.

POSITION RESPONSIBLITIES:

  • Prepares monthly forecasts of production volumes, capital and operating expenses, working closely with business managers
  • Working closely with line managers in developing the annual budget and the medium term business plan
  • Communicating and sharing information with other departments (i.e., accounting, commercial, engineering and operations) on monthly trends
  • Investment appraisal for capital projects – looking at capital expenditure projections, NPV analysis, rates of return
  • Financial modeling and scenario analysis
  • Assists in developing financial presentation material and other ad hoc reports for management and/or other departments
  • Provides financial support to other divisions.
  • Handles cash flow analysis and portfolio projections for various divisions

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

A Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting is preferred

4-6 years of accounting / finance experience is required; oil and gas experience is HIGHLY preferred

Advanced Excel/Financial Modeling/Data Manipulation skills

Understanding of business transactions that occur in the oil and gas industry

Responsibilities:

We are actively recruiting for a Senior Staff Accountant to join the General Ledger Team.  The successful individual will assist in the preparation and financial analysis of monthly and quarterly financial statements and supporting schedules according to monthly close schedule.  Assist with our yearly audit and in the preparation of audit schedules.  Work with Key Operation team members to provide specific explanations on Balance Sheet and Income Statement variances.  Provide interpretation of results for management; identify and develop reports that support company Key Performance Indicators; prepare monthly account reconciliations; provide guidance to other accounting groups regarding accounting issues; maintain foundation tables and financial reports for general ledger system; research and complete advanced special projects.  The day-to-day mentoring and training of staff accountants as well as review of their assigned reconciliations and analysis will also be part of the responsibility for this person.  Maintaining confidentiality of all sensitive information is required.

Requirements (non-negotiable requirements bolded):

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (30+ hours undergraduate Accounting courses)
  • CPA or CMA, strongly preferred
  • Requires 5+ years of General Ledger Accounting experience in a corporate environment,  preferably in wholesale distribution
  • Strong computer, presentation and organizational skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience working with JDEdwards Enterprise One is a plus
  • Requires experience with a large and diversified organizational structure and chart of accounts
  • Proven track record working for a company with gross revenues in excess of $1 billion dollars per year
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Knowledge of fundamentals of consolidation; Cost Accounting knowledge is a plus
  • Understanding of law, statistics, and general management as related to accounting
  • Must be detailed oriented with excellent time management skills
  • Proven ability to interface effectively with various levels within the organization
  • Proficient in the utilization of MS products (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
  • Ability to multi-task and complete projects within specific deadlines

Description

Promotes sales and service of client’s pump packages and accessories to established and new customers by providing technical and commercial proposals in response to inquiries, and interfacing between customers and companies facilities, following written policies and procedures.

Essential Functions:

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Sciences, or related field / equivalent experience and training

Minimum three years experience in quoting, marketing, or engineering of pumps (API 610 preferred)

Excellent written, verbal, negotiation, and interpersonal skills in English language without supervision or oversight

Strong knowledge of pumps, applications, and hydraulics

Ability to work independently and efficiently with little direct supervision

Outgoing personality

Ability to accept rejection and still maintain a positive attitude

Valid state drivers license with good driving record

Proficient in math and computer skills including Microsoft Office

Strong ability to utilize technical knowledge and analytical skills to resolve problems and objections from both internal and external forces

Willingness to travel (by vehicle and air) on a routine basis with occasional weekend stays, as required for given assignment/territory

Role Purpose

The role holder will be responsible for being an integral member of US Facilities Management Team by supporting the office and facilities operations in companies growing Houston office.  Responsibilities will include working in our mailroom/production room, taking inventory and restocking of supplies, assisting with meeting room and workstation set ups, monitoring and responding to tickets generated through the Houston Facilities Mailbox.  Additional tasks may include assisting other internal business support departments when required.

  • Perform other ad hoc Facilities Management assignments as necessary

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Candidates should be confident, outgoing and professional with at least 2 years experience of working in a similar role.  High school graduate with equivalent combination’s of experience and training in a corporate business environment.  The successful candidate should have the ability to take initiative, provide customer service in a faced-paced environment, act as a self-starter and have excellent organization skills.  Experience with Microsoft Office products, the Internet and Outlook is preferred.  Must be comfortable lifting up to 25 lbs.

Purpose
