Consulting with users, management, vendors, and technicians to assess computing needs and system requirements

Provide Help Desk support to the Support Center team members

Serve as a liaison between vendors and franchisees

Collaborate with department heads, managers¸ vendors and others to solicit cooperation and bring resolution to problems

Providing users with the appropriate and timely support and advice

Provide detailed plans for the accomplishment of project goals

Partners with vendors to ensure applications are being optimized.

Technology

The objective is to have hands on knowledge of current operating systems, therefore you will be accountable for:

Staying abreast of advances in technology

Evaluating user needs and system functionality and make recommendations

Scheduling upgrades and security backups of hardware and software systems

Researching and installing new systems

Ensuring all systems run smoothly, including anti-virus software, print services and email systems

Stores are PCI ready

Having full knowledge of POS systems

Standards

Provide a service that is consistently Superior as quickly as possible.  You will maintain the standards set for:

PCI  standards

Hardware and software licensing regulations

Security and anti-virus standards

Ensuring the security of data from internal and external attack

Providing secure access to the network from remote users

Provide the upkeep, maintenance and security of networks

Establishes and monitors key indicators to ensure a the systems supports the business needs

Compliance

Ensure that locations are in compliance with all local, state and federal information systems regulations or any other governing local, state and federal regulation.  You will be accountable for:

PCI  compliance

Hardware and software licensing compliance

Security and anti-virus compliance

Keep the location in compliance with the Franchise Agreement/License at all times

Protect confidential information

Skills/Qualifications

Degree in computer science or equivalent.  College degree preferred

Minimum 2 yrs of managing web based applications

Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Strong Project Management skills

Must have restaurant IS experience

Must have POS knowledge

Must have exceptional IS skills and fundamentals

Must read, write and communicate in English as it relates to the job

Ability to work with limited supervision

Ability to manage crisis situations in a calm and professional manner

Use of logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, and approaches to problems

Great listening skills and taking time to understands the points being made and asking questions to gain clarity of the situation

Primary responsibilities and accountabilities:

Participates in relevant in-service programs and other self-directed learning activities which promote growth in position responsibilities.
Qualifications:

Our ideal candidate must have exceptional verbal and written communication skills, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize and follow through with their work effectively. A strong attention to detail is essential in this role. The candidate must be results-oriented, and able to manage a variety of responsibilities with constantly changing priorities. In addition, the candidate must be able to work independently with little to no supervision.

Associate Degree in management.  Bachelor’s degree preferred.

At least 2 years previous executive secretarial/management experience; additional education may substitute for some experience.

Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access), personal computers, and standard office equipment.

Professional, ethical and committed to excellence; tact, diplomacy and sensitivity regarding the handling of confidential information; knowledge & understanding of social service programs.

Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Our client in The Woodlands, TX has an immediate need for a Logistics Dispatcher.

Summary: Responsible for scheduling of truck and rail terminal deliveries and withdrawals for multiple biofuel terminals located in the US.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following (Other duties may be assigned):

  • Manages truck and rail scheduling of assigned rail/truck loading terminals
  • Provides daily customer inventory reports, investigates and reconciles customer discrepancies
  • Reconciles terminal inventory weekly, investigates and corrects discrepancies
  • Provides weekly terminal and customer activity reports to management
  • Primary point of contact for customer scheduling and logistics departments
  • Tracks rail demurrage daily for assigned locations, submits disputes timely to RR, notifies management of any unexpected demurrage issues, with the primary goal of eliminating or minimizing demurrage charges
  • May be responsible for month end billing
  • Responsible for ensuring proper certificates of insurance are on hand for all terminals
  • Responsible for reporting any environmental spills timely to the proper management
  • Responsible for managing and driving a culture of excellence in quality of services to our customers
  • Ensures quality control is maintained through the process of scheduling, and tracking CP and unloading dates
  • Respond promptly to various developing conditions (including weather) as well as crisis situations
  • Utilizes any down time to suggest improvements in systems or processes, assist co-workers, and assist management with special projects
  • Interacts professionally and pleasantly with management, customers, vendors, co-workers and shareholders

Qualifications

In concert with Senior management, identifies current and future organizational needs/structure and works with HR team to ensure alignment within business unit and in the company.

In partnership with Sr. Director of HR, leads the identification, development and execution of corporate-wide initiatives (i.e., Cultural Transition, Employee Satisfaction, achievement of policy deployment initiatives associated with Company’s Key Business Results, etc.).

Monitors work to ensure quality, and continuously promote Quality First Time.

May perform other duties as required or assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

B.S. in HR Management, business or related field; Masters degree or PHR/SPHR certification preferred.

Minimum of 8 years related experience in a series of progressively more responsible HR positions, including a minimum of 4 years in a leadership capacity.  Experience must include at least 6 years of high level organizational involvement with specific experience developing and executing strategy for recruitment, retention, organizational design, and talent management/employee development.  Must have solid experience in fundamentals of HR including compensation, training, recruiting, performance management, employee relations and policy administration.

Must have demonstrated initiative in past performance and be capable of functioning in a fast-paced, change-oriented environment.

Must possess strong interpersonal, communication and listening skills.

REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a Bachelors degree in human resources, business administration or related field. Masters degree, PHR/SPHR preferred.

Our Plano, TX client is seeking an Executive Assistant for their Senior Vice President of Clinical Affairs on a contract to possible hire basis.  The ideal candidate will be motivated, resourceful, mature, and professional.

Duties and Responsibilties:

- Serve as assistant to Senior Vice President

- Greet visitors to the office in a courteous and professional manner

- Receive and screen all incoming calls, as needed, and responds to callers’ requests and inquiries, as appropriate

- Maintain current/accurate filing system and procedures

- Type letters, memorandums and documents as instructed

- Receive all incoming correspondence and mail, screen, date and distribute

- Copy, mail, fax, and overnight documents as instructed appropriately

- Organize and arrange conference calls between outside parties, internal staff and hospital staff

- Prepare and moderate webinars as instructed

- Must obtain and negotiate quotes when necessary for purchase of equipment or presentation supplies

- Create various tickler systems as needed

- Must maintain on a regular basis, up-to-date contingency firm agreements

- As an event planner, must coordinate group conferences and/or vendor presentations working with hotels, travel agencies, and guest speakers, which entail hotel pricing negotiations, site venue, meeting room set up, catering/menu preparation, event technology arrangements, travel negotiations, itinerary preparation, assembly of presentation data, and organization of any entertainment events that might be needed

- Must assist in designing and creating displays, handouts, and Power Point presentations for multiple conference, and events

- Track invoices for vendor partners on behalf of departments

- Assist with management of department budgets to include tracking and reporting

- Assist with travel arrangements and completion of expense reports

- Checks office supplies stock and reorders as appropriate

- Collects, tabulates and reports key statistics as defined from time to time

Experience:

- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint

- 3 to 5 years Executive Assistant experience in corporate environment

Personal Qualities:

- Should have the ability to communicate well with people both in person and on the phone

- Should be able to work well under pressure and exhibit utmost flexibility

- Must be trustworthy with confidential material

- Must have a neat and friendly appearance

- Maintains positive and productive working relationship with physicians of the integrated practices, the company and the co-workers and -hospital staff

- Promotes a harmonious work environment through positive communication

Administrative Skills:
