Vendor Relations:

Develop and maintain relationships with designated vendors, serving as the main point of contact.

Negotiate preferred vendor programs and implement company-wide product line conversions.

Collaborate with branches and vendors on short and long term inventory forecasts.

Track vendor orders to ensure timely delivery of Purchase Orders, and manage vendor performance in accordance to expectations outlined in vendor score cards.

Present vendor performance at annual meetings with key vendors.

Inventory Management/Planning:

Prevent and manage inventory backorders, manage open orders by timing and quantity as needed to respond to changing demand patterns. Expedite orders when necessary.

Manage excess and obsolete inventories as well as stock rebalancing with vendors.

Manage key performance metrics surrounding inventory turn, service levels, and obsolescence.

Manage inventory levels, availability levels, aging and turns. Identifies order strategies, problem areas and possible corrective actions.

Implement inventory recommendations to achieve targeted goals.

Analyze branch inventory levels and sales rates, recognizing trends. Use results to recommend mix of product, allocation strategies, or other efficiencies.

Manage overall average inventory levels at branches through regular replenishment reviews with regional managers.

Provide transactional backup to purchasing agents as needed.

Participate in annual physical counts at a branch location.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree preferred, or 3-5 years relevant work experience required; inventory planning in distribution, logistics, or procurement or related field preferred.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.

The ability to work with multiple computer applications at the same time.

Strong ability to manage time effectively, balance multiple tasks at once, and reprioritize as needed.

  • Develop a working knowledge of customer relationships.
  • Establish a framework for maintaining credit in a variety of sale situations, involving a diverse product line and a wide array of customer classifications.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly status reports on A/R accounts, including listings of accounts with invoices over 60 days old, for review by the credit manager, company presidents, and sales personnel.
  • Answer inquiries for credit references with past, factual experience.
  • Authority to approve new accounts up to $100,000.
  • Authority to hold any shipments to delinquent accounts.
  • Process charge card sales.
  • Analyze sales order entered reports by auditing terms, limits, hold codes, and need for job information.
  • Send prelien notices, bond claims, and lien filings within time frames dictated by each job-location state.
  • Responsible for organizing dispute meetings for disputed balances on accounts.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Some College Preferred
  • Minimum 2-4 years experience
  • Knowledgeable of SAP
  • Bilingual and Spanish preferred
  • Organized and focused with the sense of urgency to meet deadlines.

The Account Executive position is an inside sales position responsible for penetrating a new customer base.

The Account Executive will achieve sales goals through referrals and various forms of marketing and sales presentations that define the value of fleet management to key decision makers. The AE is responsible for influencing the decision, while exceeding the customer’s expectations for service, knowledge and professionalism. The AE will be knowledgeable of the complete menu of services.  Overall, the AE is responsible for obtaining new customer accounts.

Responsibilities:

  • Heavy cold calling, networking, and working with referrals to generate new leads
  • Conducting sales meetings and presentations
  • Qualifying and analyzing prospective client data
  • Preparing sales proposals, account pricing, and service offerings
  • Identifying the leads of target market through referrals and national association relationships
  • Qualify customers for ancillary products through additional research and personal contact
  • Create a strategy to convince prospects of their need to learn about the client services
  • Conduct various meetings with clients
  • Create and maintain custom solutions
  • Must uphold company standards for honesty and integrity
  • Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Must have excellent written/ verbal communication skills.
  • Must have a “hunter” mentality
  • Possess 2-3 years of prior business to business outside sales experience.
  • Professional sales presentation skills
  • Strong mathematical skills and reasoning ability
  • Ability to explain detailed financial documents and contracts to clients
  • Ability to influence/persuade others and gain acceptance/approval of innovative ideas and concepts
  • Resilience and ability to handle set backs or rejection
  • Knowledge of basic computer skills, standard office equipment and ability to learn appropriate software
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with no more than two moving violations within the last 3 years.
  • No drug or alcohol related conviction on driving record (ie., DUI/DWI) on driving record in the past 3 years.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Provide extensive calendar management
Coordinate travel arrangements (domestic and international)
Schedule and coordinate meetings
Process complex expense reports
Provide telephone support to executive management team
Manage email communication and compose correspondence
Provide personal assistance (personal errands, banking transactions, vacation scheduling, calendar management, etc.)
Work closely with Company’s General Counsel in preparing, revising and finalizing corporate records, insurance and claims documentation, customer credit applications, and memoranda as required
Assist Executive Management team in preparing presentations, documents and other required materials for Board and other meetings
Interact extensively with Executive Management and specific third parties regarding often highly confidential corporate, strategic and financial matters
Other duties as assigned.

Requirements include:
5+ years experience supporting senior-level executives – business and personal
Paralegal experience is highly preferred
Bachelor’s degree, preferred
Proficiency in MS Office
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Superior time management skills with demonstrated ability to successfully handle multiple projects and assignments
Must be organized, self-directed, dependable, and flexible in this fast paced environment
Must exhibit a high degree of confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy
Strong numerical aptitude; Accounting experience, preferred
A friendly, team-player with a “can-do” attitude is a must
A professional demeanor is required
