Our Fort Worth, TX client is seeking an Excel expert on a 1-2 month contract basis.  MS MapPoint experience is highly preferred.  The main objective of this position will be to summarize massive amounts of GPS coordinate records and format data in Excel to enter into Microsoft MapPoint.

Duties:

  • Create detailed formulas in Excel
  • Summarize and format data in Excel to be added to MS MapPoint

Requirements:

  • Advanced Excel skills; Working knowledge of MS Excel formulas.
  • Experience and knowledge of MS MapPoint
  • 2-5 years experience w/High School diploma, GED or equivalent. College course work preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills essential; able to analyze and resolve customer issues

Our East Texas/West Louisiana oil and gas client is looking for an Operations Support Manager to join their team

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Involved in the asset management of pipeline, plant and auxiliary equipment in an assigned area of Company facilities.  Ensure the safe, effective and efficient performance of pipeline and plant maintenance and operation activities in accordance with Company standards and regulatory guidelines.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

     

  • Provide consistent guidance for company policies, procedures and directives.
  • Provide consistent guidance for state, and federal regulatory compliance.
  • Prepare and presents operational reports concerning the pipeline system efficiency.
  • Prepare work orders and cost estimates for maintenance activities requiring engineering services.
  • Respond to system emergencies.
  • Consult on capital and expense projects.
  • Assist operations personnel to find solutions to problems within existing facilities and pipelines.
  • Contribute engineering expertise in Process Safety Management for all applicable facilities.
  • Provide engineering expertise for operating facilities; including all safety systems.
  • Supervise and coordinate work for area operations personnel. This includes overseeing operator compliance, scheduling, and training and assurance compliance.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of the Company operations and maintenance manuals.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of a pipeline integrity program.
  • Develop plans for coordinating activities of the pipeline system.
  • Supervise activities of technicians engaged in inspection and required repairs of pipeline and auxiliary equipment to ensure specific operational performance, and optimum utilization.
  • Supervise and coordinates scheduling, measuring, transmission, and maintenance activities to ensure efficient operations of pipelines and auxiliary equipment to minimize gain/loss.
  • Ensure compliance with recognized engineering standards, codes, regulatory permits and adoption of appropriate best practices.
  • Provide input to the design engineering effort to ensure efficient operations of new and existing facilities.
  • Participate in the start-up and commissioning; normal operating; shutting down; emergency, and pigging operations of newly installed facilities.
  • Establish budgets and schedules for Company’s engineering and construction projects.
  • Responsible for evaluation and selection of engineering and construction contractors that meet Company safety and financial requirements.
  • Independently exercises judgment and decision making in organizing maintenance schedules, plans, and implementation of preventative and corrective maintenance of the pipeline, plant and auxiliary equipment.
  • Independently exercises judgment and decision making in planning, organizing, and conducting work assignments and provides assistance, advice, and solutions to co-workers.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and establishing personal networks.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

     

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field (engineering or science) required.  Experience is specific to midstream or oil/gas engineering.
  • 10+ years of experience in engineering in Midstream or oil and gas field.  Professional Engineer or PMP certification may be required.
  • High degree of integrity and business ethics.
  • Must have sound interpersonal and technical skills in coordinating the activities of the pipeline operations activities.
  • Have operations experience in addition to engineering experience
  • Ability to develop and manage operating budgets.
  • Able to prioritize and manage multiple projects, adhering to strict deadlines.
  • Experienced in development and implementation of operations policies and procedures.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, meeting deadlines consistently.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the primary role of the Maintenance Superintendent is to ensure that all Maintenance and Integrity work is completed safely and within target completion dates. The position will take the lead role in delivering a reliable and well maintained Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for all plant and equipment infrastructure to support Operations.  The work will include managing the work of the field Maintenance staff and working closely with the Operations teams.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

     

  • Manage the Company’s Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). The role will act as the deputy to the CMMS project manager and will take full responsibility for further development of the system when the project manager departs.
  • Manage the CMMS and ensure that PM and breakdown work orders are planned, issued and closed out correctly.
  • Continually improve the CMMS to ensure the contents are accurate.
  • Develop the work programs and budgets for maintenance activities.
  • Lead and plan post-implementation reviews of infrastructure development pertaining to plant & equipment.
  • Recommend and implement improvements in maintenance methodology in the company’s present operations and future developments.
  • Develop technical & maintenance management reports as required and create a suite of key performance indicators in line with company requirements.
  • Develop management systems, maintenance programs and regimes for all field plant and equipment.
  • Liaise with contractors and contract management staff to assist with review of contracts, specifications and tenders.
  • Abide by all rules and regulations and take a pro-active attitude to all matters involving  HSSE.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

     

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Engineering , or a related field preferred.
  • Knowledge of CMMS systems and management of natural gas facilities.
  • 10+ years of oil and gas experience, primarily managing CMMS systems and natural gas facilities.
  • Extensive experience in the Oil & Gas industry, with specific experience of midstream pipeline operations and maintenance activities.
  • Experience in planning and scheduling maintenance activities and developing mid to long term maintenance plans.
  • Experience in management of multi skilled technical staff and contractors.
  • Experience in the development and preparation of policies/procedures.

This position provides primary administrative support to the President & CEO and the Chief Program Officer ensuring accuracy and professionalism in all forms of written and verbal communication.  Consistently demonstrates highest levels of integrity and good judgment, including those matters requiring confidentiality and/or sensitivity.  Handle reservations and arrangements for meetings, professional development and travel.

Accountabilities

3.    Provide administrative support to the Board, Endowment Trustees and committees including mailings, meeting schedules, attendance confirmations, Minutes preparation, etc. as directed by the President & CEO

4.    Prepare all annual contracts for independent school districts and charter schools with direction from the Chief Program Officer for approval, signature and mailing.

5.    Attend external informational meetings on an as requested basis.

6.    Ensure all incoming mail and e-mail is handled and forwarded in a timely manner and all phone inquiries and responses are conducted professionally and efficiently.

7.    Prepare all donor acknowledgments for signature in a consistently, timely manner.

8.    Organize and maintain central files that include contracts, Board and Endowment meeting files, legislative activity, etc.

9.    Provides administrative support to other directors on the Executive Management Team (EMT) as requested and approved by the President & CEO.

10.  Performs other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Knowledge of common workplace practices including practical office safety and typical document retention.

Effectively perform and track multiple mapping projects.
Simple to complex spatial data analysis including extracting data from various databases.

Experience using ESRI based software including the ArcGIS suite, ArcSDE or ArcGIS Server and available extensions.
Knowledge of cartographic skills, including setting projections, use of spatial imagery, processing spatial data, attributing to/from various formats, import/exporting from various repositories, run analysis, familiar with the uses of various data types and application factors.
Ability to pull routes from electronic or paper alignments, sketches or other spatial representation including GPS points.
Excellent computer and organizational skills.
