POSITION OBJECTIVE:

POSITION FUNCTIONS:

Responsible for opening, date stamping, scanning and validating invoices as assigned.

This position is responsible for the day to day dispatching of up to 120 trucks and truck drivers also, insuring that drivers are dispatched to their routes in a timely manner. It is important that the individual has the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and accurately recall information. Under supervision by the Dispatch Manager the Dispatcher ensures that The Company is always represented in a professional and courteous manner. A Dispatcher is responsible for handling all of the scheduling, planning and coordinating of Service calls they receive from Customers Service, Sales department, Supervisor and mangers. Job Specifications

The person in this position should have the following credentials:

1. Experience in the transportation industry with at least three years in operations and dispatch.
2. Works under general supervision and
ability to work under pressure
. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
3. Solid communication skills in SPANISH and ENGLISH including written and verbal.
4. Must be computer literate and have basic to intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite programs such as word and excel. In addition, working knowledge of an e-mail system is necessary.
