Our oil and gas client is looking for Plant Operators for their Grand Cane, LA plant and their Center, TX plant

Position Function: Assure safe working conditions and all regulatory compliance, supervise that proper maintenance has been performed to ensure maximum Plant run-time.

Position Description:

• Monitor all Plant equipment on a daily basis under supervision of higher graded Plant Operator.

• Maintain a safe working environment by obeying all safety rules as outlined in the company Safety Program and by reporting all accidents, unsafe conditions and acts to management

• Carry out necessary preventative maintenance in a timely manner as to meet our PSM guidelines.

• Prepare and issue Permits to Work to Contractors

• Identify warning signals, adjust controls, and troubleshoots and repairs equipment accordingly.

• Carry out daily inspections to look and identify any potential operational problems with equipment and or containment that may lead to mechanical integrity failures.

• Maintain the Plant Facility; weed control, blasting and painting as a part to having the facility operate efficiently and safely.

• Assist in ensuring that all required PSM documentation is up to date and that the Plant continues to operate under the PSM guidelines established in the company PSM Manual and by OSHA.

• Other duties as required.

 

Position Requirements:

 

  • HS diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid state driver’s license required.
  • Trained in regulation requirements of Process Safety Management.
  • 0-2 years of Plant Operator experience and
  • 2+ years of oil and gas field experience required.
  • Ability to operate computers is a must to control plant functions.
  • Ability to operate hand tools and equipment, and follow established procedures.
  • Ability to apply knowledge to solve problems.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Must possess basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.)
  • May require availability for overtime hours during peak periods.
  • Twenty-four hour on-call responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

Manages the claims staff and third party administrators (TPAs) in the management of property, environmental and casualty insurance claims, and provides global claims analyses to all stakeholders
Keeps apprised of new services and products that assist with claim management and cost reduction efforts
Manages vendor relationships and contracts
Develops vendor service plan, monitor vendor activities including audits; revise plan as needed

Informs departmental management on claims’ status.

Identify areas of in-depth analysis
Collaborates with senior risk Control analyst to assess trends and plan for process improvements

Advises primary stakeholders and management on methods and means of reducing risk.
Assists in preparing year-end loss reserve analysis for workers’ compensation, general liability, vehicle and property losses for Risk Management’s insurance renewal submission.
Reviews leases and other contracts for risk management related issues and reports findings and recommendations.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

4 year college degree in business, statistics, mathematics, or related area

MiniMum of 5 – 7 years experience in insurance claims management and vendor relations

Minimum of 2 – 5 years in supervisory/managemenT
Adjuster’s license and or designations of one of the following:
Associate in Claims (AIC),
Associate in Risk Management (ARM)
Chartered Property & Casualty Underwriter (CPCU)
Working and technical knowledge of insurance claims management including litigation
Well developed supervisory/management skills
Effective relationship building
Effective vendor and litigation management
Intermediate to advance Microsoft office products ability
Well developed ability to work with on-line third party administration claim management systems

Our Southeast Houston, TX client is looking for an Inside Sales Coordinator for their Houston sales office.  This person will provide sales and administrative support to our customers, product management and sales team.  In this position, you will be responsible for providing quotations, product information and specifications, speaking with customers and sales representatives, and coordinating orders.

Responsibilities:
Providing quotation and ordering assistance to customers and sales representatives.
Interacting with customers to provide them with sales and quotation follow-up.
Assisting sales representatives and technical support personnel with product demonstration equipment.
Sending correspondence to customers.
Assisting customers who come to the Houston office.
The successful candidate will have the ability to provide customers with a positive, helpful experience, and deliver the results our customers require.
The successful candidate must be highly proficient in office software (Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).  This position requires the ability to complete work with minimum supervision to meet customer deadlines.  Strong organizational, analytical and mechanical abilities are necessary.
Due to the demands of the position, the individual must be able to handle a high energy and fast paced environment.  A positive attitude and willingness to take ownership of assigned tasks is essential.

Requirements:
Bachelor degree in business, marketing or related field.
A minimum of 5+ years of experience working in a business to business sales organization is required.
Preference will be given to someone with an industrial products or services company background
Excellent written and verbal skills to effectively communicate with customers and in-house staff.
Able to work in a fast paced environment and meet critical deadlines.
Able to use strong analytical skills to make recommendations to customers, engineering, and sales team.
Able to manage and prioritize multiple projects, working independently to meet deadlines.
Able to learn and use new business and technical software.
Able to learn the technical and application aspects of our product.
High proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required.
