Our Southwest Houston, TX client is seeking a contract to hire Bilingual Administrative Assistant to assist the VP of International Sales & Service.  Pay is between $15-$17 an hour.

Responsibilities:
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
Responsible for effective office organization to include incoming mail and faxes and its distribution, answer incoming phones lines and directing calls and/or taking messages

Duplication and distribution of various reports to all departments that require the material. As the incumbent becomes more efficient and progresses in department knowledge, he/she will be required to perform additional duties and maintain the department’s working control copy of the ‘SOP’.
Assist in gathering information for the Trend Report, Material Parts Listing, shipping etc.
Prepare statistical data and verify accuracy of information while producing spreadsheets, letters, etc., for the district.
The preparation of the monthly discount report, and the preparation and sending of faxes as required as well as the maintenance and updating of the sales order value report.
Preparation of ISO-9001-2000 procedures for the Western Hemisphere at district level, by maintaining all records and books.

Requirements:
Two year associates degree with two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must be bilingual (both written and verbal)
Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations. Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy.
Must be able to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.

Position Function:
Assure safe working conditions and all regulatory compliance, supervise that proper maintenance has been performed to ensure maximum Plant run-time.

Position Description:
Monitor all Plant equipment on a daily basis under supervision of higher graded Plant Operator.

Carry out necessary preventative maintenance in a timely manner as to meet our PSM guidelines.

Carry out daily inspections to look and identify any potential operational problems with equipment and or containment that may lead to mechanical integrity failures.
Maintain the Plant Facility; weed control, blasting and painting as a part to having the facility operate efficiently and safely.
Assist in ensuring that all required PSM documentation is up to date and that the Plant continues to operate under the PSM guidelines established in the company PSM Manual and by OSHA.
Other duties as required.

Position Requirements:
HS diploma or equivalent required.
Valid state driver’s license required.
Trained in regulation requirements of Process Safety Management.
0-2 years of Plant Operator experience and
2+ years of oil and gas field experience required.
Experience and knowledge of the Amine gas treating process and acid gas removal.
Familiararity with Environmental and pipeline regulation procedures that require proper conversion of H2S removed from refinery fuel gas to elemental sulphur.
Ability to operate computers is a must to control plant functions.
Ability to operate hand tools and equipment, and follow established procedures.
Ability to apply knowledge to solve problems.
Must be detail oriented.
Must possess basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.)
May require availability for overtime hours during peak periods.
Twenty-four hour on-call responsibilities.
