SQL/SSIS Database Developer Job Description
The Database Developer will work closely with developers and database team members to design, develop and enhance Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008 database solutions.

Responsibilities:
Work with developers and business users to define requirements, perform analysis and design, and implement robust, maintainable solutions that meet the business requirements.
Lead and participate in reviews and quality assurance processes to ensure that the data architectures and standards are being adhered to.  Enforce policies and procedures to team members.
Create and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical database models.
Create SSIS packages to import/export data, and load and process data.
Develop and enhance stored procedures.  Write ad-hoc SQL queries to support report requests.
Design and develop meaningful business reports (BI), either web based or thick client.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or the equivalent is preferred and 10 years database development experience is required.
In depth SQL knowledge is required, including advanced tuning skills.
Expertise in Microsoft SQL Server 2005 and 2008. OLTP and OLAP.
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2005 and SSIS is required.
Developing custom ad hoc reports using SQL 2005, SQL Reporting Services, SSIS,or Crystal reports,
Experience with HP Polyserve is preferred.
Knowledge of XML and C# technologies is required.
Experience mapping multiple data sources from various data formats and normalizing the data into SQL 2005 repositories.
Strong communication skills and the ability to share ideas and work well in small teams.
Possesses excellent problem solving capabilities.
Independent and self-motivated.

Essential Duties:
Oversee the efficient operation and administration of the following functional activities: Health and welfare plans, Workers’ compensation, Qualified Retirement/Savings plans, COBRA administration and Wellness programs
Evaluate and compare existing firm benefits with those of other employers by analyzing other plans, surveys, and other sources of information. Plan, develop, and/or participate in area and industry surveys. Analyze results of surveys and develop specific recommendations for review by management.
Develop specifications for new plans or modify existing plans to maintain firm’s competitive position in all office location’s labor market.  Obtain uniform benefit package for all Firm locations, where possible.
Recommend classes of eligible employees/Partners for new or modified plans. Develops census data, evaluates quotations presented by broker, and makes recommendations to management. Develops Firm cost information for new plans and makes recommendations to management concerning sharing of cost between Firm, employee, and Partner.
Keeps abreast of changes in benefits regulations and trends. Apprises management of benefits issues and concerns, and ascertains Firm needs.
Installs approved new plans and changes by preparing announcement material, booklets, and other media for communicating new plans to employees/Partners. Conducts employee/Partner meetings and arranges for enrollment of employees/Partners in optional plans. Conducts employee/Partner benefit seminars. Revises and reissues all communications material on benefits from time to time. Advises and counsels management and employees/Partners on existing benefits.
Prepares and executes, with legal consultation, benefit documentation such as original and amended plan texts, benefit agreements and insurance policies. Instructs insurance carriers, trustees, and other administrative agencies outside the company to effect changes in benefit program. Ensures prompt and accurate compliance.
Assures Firm compliance with provisions of Employee Retirement Income Security Act and the Internal Revenue Code. Supervises preparation of reports and applications required by law to be filed with federal and state agencies, such as Internal Revenue Service, Department of Labor, insurance commissioners, and other regulatory agencies.  Reviews and analyzes changes to state and federal laws pertaining to benefits, and reports necessary or suggested changes to management. Coordinates Firm benefits, with government sponsored programs.
Assures organizational compliance with provisions of Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act.
Assures that existing and new benefit programs are adaptable to standardized computer and reporting systems. Develops benefit information and statistical and census data for actuaries, insurance carriers, and management.
Handles benefit inquiries and complaints to ensure quick, equitable, courteous resolution.  Maintains contact in person, and by phone or mail, with hospitals, physicians, insurance companies, employees/Partner, retirees, terminated employees and beneficiaries to facilitate proper and complete utilization of benefits for all employees/Partners.
Supervises maintenance of benefits records. Supervises maintenance of enrollment, application, and claims records for all benefit plans.
Develops and monitors functional area budgets to ensure efficient utilization of resources.  Plans and directs the achievement of area goals and objectives within established company policies.
Maintains adequate staffing levels to ensure proper administration of activities.

Qualifications:
Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 4 years of progressive experience in benefit plan administration or a Master’s degree in Human Resources
Administration and 5 years of progressive experience in benefit plan administration. Any
appropriate combination of education and experience. CEBS or equivalent certification strongly desired.
Should have strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint). Knowledge of the Benefits portion of an HRIS system strongly desired.
Should possess the ability to communicate, persuade and/or influence internal and/or external clients at a high level such as senior management on matters of a technical and/or complex nature. Must have the ability to perform analyses involving ratios, percentages and simple statistical methods. Requires the ability to operate in a team and also independently. Must be capable of multi-tasking and handling complex details. Strong management/leadership skills required.

Job Description:

Primary Responsibilities:
Analyze, code and process company non-operated invoices for properties in the Joint Interest region each month.

Utilize JIBLink and Excel to download & upload specific vendors – this entails set up and cross-referencing.
Attach scanned images to all invoices prior to posting batches.
Analyze monthly LOS reports for Non-Operated wells and identify any problematic wells.
Verify coding and AFE number for accuracy and compliance with internal controls.
Contact regional office personnel with any coding questions or discrepancies.
Monthly review and correction of the Joint Interest Billing Recap.
Reconcile individual suspense account each month.

Support Functions:
Review past due invoice copies and research statements.
High-light and organize processed invoices as necessary to assist check writing personnel.
Provide backup for other accounting personnel during peak demand periods, vacations and employee absences.
Any task or project as directed by supervisor or manager.

Preferred Qualifications:
College Accounting courses (6 hours).
3 years oil & gas experience.
Thorough knowledge of Joint Interest Accounting and the understanding of COPAS rules applicable to drilling, completion and operations of oil & gas wells.
Ability to answer questions and discuss issues regarding properties as they apply to invoices booked.

Observe all federal, state and local laws and regulations.  Document processes as required.

Minimal Job Requirements:
High School Diploma with business classes required. Prefer an Associate degree in Accounting, Computer Science, or Business Administration with accounting emphasis.
Three to five (3-5) years’ experience with a medium size ($50-150 Million) sales/service company, including supervisory experience and expertise.  Experience must include in depth Excel® and Word® knowledge in an accounting capacity.
Proven experience in maintaining the proper accounting records and files, including data entry, and  updating those records as required.
Good interpersonal skills.  A proven ability to build rapport and generate results cross-functionally and with direct reports.
Ability to work with team members, under pressure, and achieving deadlines and end-of-the-month results consistently.
Suitable mental aptitude to compute business math formulas and to enter financial data and other information into PC programs, as designated.  Ability to compose letters and memos as directed.  This position will require a self-starter that can meet “Close” dates.
Experience with ViewPoint Software is a plus.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
Manager team of accounts receivable personnel effectively in achieving departmental goals and objectives.

Minimal Job Requirements:
High School Diploma with business classes required. Prefer an Associate degree in Accounting, Computer Science, or Business Administration with accounting emphasis.
Three to five (3-5) years’ experience with a medium size ($50-150 Million) sales/service company, including supervisory experience and expertise.  Experience must include in depth Excel® and Word® knowledge in an accounting capacity.
Proven experience in maintaining the proper accounting records and files, including data entry, and updating those records as required.
Good interpersonal skills.  A proven ability to build rapport and generate results cross-functionally and with direct reports.
Ability to work with team members, under pressure, and achieving deadlines and end-of-the-month results consistently.

This Legal Office Administrative Assistant will be responsible for front desk receptionist responsibilities as well as duties assisting and reporting to the general counsel.

These functions include but are not limited to:
Answering multiline phones
Routing calls
Greeting customers
Ordering office supplies
Scheduling of calendars
Creating correspondence
Opening and closing files

Requirements:
Legal experience (a plus)
Proficient in Excel
Will be working independently / must be able to a self starter

Our Beaumont, TX client is in need of a Training Coordinator for their office.

Responsible for the following:
Start the initial process of the company orientation with all New Hires/Existing Personnel
Begin an assessment of what the candidate needs in regards to OQ (Performance Evaluations in the field or in yard)
Assessment to be Proctors for OQ Testing
Refer and suggest Performance Evaluations to the Safety Department
Schedule Specific Training for personnel
They will assess the candidate to see what training they need vs. what they have and report to Management of what training they will need to comply with and schedule them accordingly.
They will be responsible to submit all OQ Performance Evaluations from the Safety Department
Communicate with Safety & Training (S&T) Admin to update the training database
Follow-Ups with Specific training needs such as DOW, Explorer, etc.
Print Training Cards with the training certification
Do onsite training assessment in Forklift, Man-Lift, and Overhead Crane Certification and assist with Excavation Certification
File all respective training documentation for OQ and Performance Evaluations
Other responsibilities that may interact with Safety and OQ

Interaction with other Departments:
The department interaction these training coordinators will be with Area Managers, S&T Admin, Safety, Training and HR-Generalist
They will eventually be part of ongoing training to get to the next level and start training in other areas as their performance and responsibilities increase.

Qualifications:
Safety Driven and some degree of Safety Training
Completion of High School or other technical school preferably in Safety
Be able to multi-task
Good Communication Skills
Be able to follow directions
Attention to Detail
Safety Driven and some degree of Safety Training
