Our West Houston, TX client is in need of a Personal Lines Account Manager/Retention Specialist for a Direct Hire opportunity.

Job Functions:
Will remarket 1-2 existing PL accounts per day to do the following:
Set up policy files for successful remarket or new polices in management system and electronically store all data and documents related to prospect/client in management system.
Prepare applications, obtain and organize related documents.
Collect all premiums, including audits made subsequent to policy issuance, on accounts serviced and produced.
Collect required documentation such as signed applications, rejections and supporting documentation for qualified discounts.
Process endorsements and cancellations as needed that are related to the transaction.
Identify account round opportunities and provide clients with policy coverage options.
Work directly and maintain relationships through direct communication with company underwriters.
Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of all the companies underwriting and procedural guidelines.
Be available for additional duties or functions that Management deems necessary to fulfill the job requirement.

Job Requirements:
H/S Diploma or equivalent
Some college is helpful, but not required
At least 4 years of experience in an independent insurance agency personal lines department
In-depth knowledge of personal lines coverage
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Current TX property-casualty insurance service representative license
A professional insurance designation (CISR, ACSR, CIC or equivalent) or progress towards one of the aforementioned.
