Frontline Source Group – temporary staffing and direct hire firm – is looking for an Accounting Manager for our NW Houston, TX client on a Direct Hire basis.

Your role with the company:
The Accounting Manager is responsible for the general accounting responsibilities as well as leading a small staff and reporting to the Controller. Daily responsibilities for the Accounting Manager would include analyzing trends/costs/revenues for projections; managing cost and inventory system; preparing balance sheet, P&L statements, and other reports; and developing proper procedures and forms for accounting staff as necessary. As mentioned before, this company is in growth mode. So in addition to the security their longevity provides, this is also a “ground floor” opportunity to grow. This would include managing additional staff as the team grows and having a very hands-on role in implementing policies and procedures.
Background profile:
A bachelor’s degree in Accounting for Finance preferred
At least 5 years of experience; Minimum 2 years in a management role
Exposure to accounting in a manufacturing environment with specific knowledge of cost and inventory accounting
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Hands-on manager who is invested in the professional growth of their team members
