Our client in Addison, TX is looking for an Accounting Specialist for a contract to possible hire opportunity. This position is approximately 50% accounts payable and 50% general accounting. The selected candidate will have the following skill set:
Position Description:
Prepare and process accounts payable
Gather 1099/W9 information for vendors
File and maintain paid invoices
Gather and maintain signature files for accounts payable authorizations
Prepare basic journal entries
File journal entries and bank statements
Account reconciliations: A/P Trade to subsidiary accounts
Cross train for Bank Reconciliations and Corporate Rebill
Other duties as assigned
Position will report to the Senior Corporate Accountant
Position Requirements:
3+ years of Accounts Payable experience required
HS Diploma or GED equivalent required
High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel required
Must possess enthusiastic and energetic attitude
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize
Ability to successfully perform multiple tasks while maintaining strong attention to detail
Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and written
Ability to work effectively with vendors and team members
