Our Rosenberg, TX client is in need of an Accounting Supervisor for a contract to possible hire or Direct Hire opportunity.
Summary:
Accounting Manager needed for a service company. The ideal candidate will have 3-5+ years of experience in an Accounting role with some type of supervision preferred. The candidate must have experience working with very detailed invoicing and billing. This position supervises a team of 2 to 4 AR and AP specialists.
Required:
Bachelor degree in Accounting or higher
Proficient in QuickBooks accounting software (not required, but highly preferred)
3 – 5+ years relevant pre- or postgraduate work experience required in the following:
Accounts Receivable (high volume/complexity)
Accounts Payable (high volume)
Payroll (full in-house payroll processing preferred)
Month-End Financial Closings and reconciliation
Cash-Flow management
Financial Statement Analysis
Corporate/Sales Tax filing and remittance (working knowledge)
Job-Order (Project) Cost Accounting and Percentage-of-Completion concepts
Experience to include a supervisory role over a single individual, or a group of individuals (preferred)
Strong communications skills, both verbal and written
