Our Spring, TX client is in need of a Administrative Assistant – Business Development for their corporate office.

Summary:
Will support VP of Business Development and the entire Business Development team. 

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Administer all aspects of CRM. Enter new leads, opportunities, contacts and accounts. Ensure the database is current at all times
Follow-up with sales team regarding updates to existing opportunities and leads in CRM
Research and enter new opportunities by using the following tools: Pipeline Intelligence Report, Pipeline News, PEC Reports, News Articles and FERC website
Print out weekly reports for each individual member of the BD team of  their current opportunities and leads
Update and enter new and existing contacts from the BD team
Enter notes for contacts after attending BD sponsored events
Make follow up phone calls regarding the status of bids and communicate results to the BD team
Work closely with the Bids Department regarding when bids are sent back to the customers. Ensure the information is entered into CRM
Record and distribute minutes at monthly Manager/BD conference call
Update and format all Strike and Pickett resumes
Maintain and update all project lists
Review all BD departments Expense Reports and send  to VP for approval
Manage all BD time sheets, mileage reimbursement forms, PTO forms, etc
Put together and maintain supply of brochures and goodie bags for various events
Enter and organize VP’s  business cards in CRM, contacts and binder
Back up for VP and Associate Managers phone line

Experience:
Minimum 2-3 years administrative assistant role
Minimum of 1 year research experience
Ideal candidate will have experience working in an oil and gas environment supporting a Business Development team

Education and/or Training:
Bachelor’s degree and/or relevant experience

Skills and Experience:
Strong proficiency of Microsoft products including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Experience with CRM or equivalent Customer Management Software
Exercise sound judgment, well organized, have excellent oral and written communications skills, work well under pressure, take the initiative, flexible and cooperative
Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously
Accuracy, timeliness, tact, problem-solving skills, and ability to work effectively with both employees and managers
Respect for confidentiality concerning customer information and company records
Convey a positive and professional image to customers and peers
