Our North Dallas, TX client is seeking a high volume Accounts Payable Clerk. This person will process 4,000 invoices per month and must be comfortable processing 500 invocies per day. This person will also be processing 45-50 employee expense reports.
Responsibilities:
Matches invoices with purchase orders and reviews for correct quantities, unit price, taxes, and terms. Enter invoices into payables system prior to issuing of checks.
Verifies and corrects PO coding.
Processes printing of checks for payment verifying invoice amounts are correct.
Selects invoices to pay, generates printing of checks, sorts and batches checks with invoices.
Statement reconciliation; Researches and resolves problem invoices and vendor inquiries.
Audit debt payments and insurance schedules.
Prepares monthly accruals for unrecognized liabilities.
Prepares expense analysis as required.
Works with vendors to establish sales on terms.
Perform general accounting duties as needed.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
7+ yrs. HIGH volument AP experience
1+ year of AR knowledge
Experience processing expense reports
System is sx.e (Trend) but transition to GUI in next month
Also manages: Company fleet (cars, gas cards, American express cards, some insurance)
