Our Fort Worth Area, TX client is seeking someone to develop Qlikview dashboards as well as administer the Qlikview server on a long term contract basis.  In this role, this person should have a strong SQL and database knowledge to help develop strong data models within Qlikview.  In addition, they will need to assist other team members on Qlikview best practices for each of their dashboards.  This person will work with other teams throughout the company to find out their data requirements and set up a data model to assist them in dashboard development.    This person will need to set up daily/weekly automation of data feeds and ensure that the process runs smoothly.  Finally, they will need to be able to set up report distribution through the Qlikview server and/or SharePoint.

Responsibilities:
Working with business and technology representatives to understand and prioritize user requirements and translate them into BI applications and helping develop end-user business-oriented metadata definitions.
Govern the overall look and data quality of all new dashboards making sure all best practices are adhere to during development.
Responsible for demonstrating software to internal users.

Education:
B.S. degree in Computer Sciences, Information Technology, Engineering or equivalent; Master’s degree preferred.

Experience: Minimum 8 years related experience. Advanced computer software skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to lead and direct multiple projects simultaneously; ability to delegate work to subordinate or less experienced team members; proven leadership ability.

‘Must have’ skills:
Good experience with Qlikview, including development and administration
Good knowledge of complex SQL with any major RDBMS.
Good experience with Qlikview, including development and administration
Experience with any other major BI Tool (Cognos, Business Objects)
Good experience with SharePoint 2007 and/or 2010 (to especially include lists, measures/KPI modules, and workflows.)
Good problem solving skills, logical process thinking and end-to-end system concepts.

‘Nice to have’ skills:
Use of data profiling methods to analyze data sources.
Good theoretical and practical knowledge of data warehousing.
Implementation of reporting/analytic applications in a complex data warehouse structure.

This contract is estimated to last at least 6 months.
