Our NW Houston, TX client is in need of a Bilingual Inside Sales Representative for a Direct Hire opportunity.
SUMMARY:
Achieves sales objectives within product range or assigned districts. Pursues sales leads, promotes products, concludes orders, and arranges internal sales logistics. May also guide new sales representatives. The successful candidate will have a technical background, strong computer skills and excellent customer service skills. They are responsible for receiving and processing incoming sales and service requests to meet the needs of the customer. This person must have great communication skills, be dependable and a hard worker capable of multitasking and working as part of a team.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Responds to calls from existing customers or distributors to purchase products, resolve account problems, follows up on supply or logistics concerns. Works with sales account representatives or Sales Managers to resolve issues.
Works with management to set margins.
Ensures reports are maintained as necessary to track the status of inquiries, quotes & bids.
Sets sales goals based on prior years’ sales, discussions with sales and marketing teams, customers, and distributors.
Experience Required:
3+ years of recent experience in a customer service or sales role in a manufacturing or oil field service environment
MUST be bilingual (English/Spanish) to be considered (reading/writing/speaking)
Excellent communication skills necessary
Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business preferred; Associates’ degree required.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer software needed.
Some experience with an ERP system, such as SAP
