Bookkeeper – Rowlett TX

Our client in Rowlett, TX Is looking for a Bookkeeper.  The selected candidate will have the following skill set:

Position Description
Able to initially convert contracts and entries from 200 vendors Quickbooks Pro software into Deltek GovCon Essentials
Upon conclusion of the conversion, the successful candidate will take over bookkeeping
Responsible for accounts payable, vendors, data entry, journal entries
Assist with the monthly closing of the general ledger, including creating and posting journal entries
Perform the daily processing of accounts payable transactions in an efficient and accurate manner
Reconcile Accounts
Room to grow within organization (take on more accounting responsibilities)
Existing Office Manager handles all payroll and invoicing

The chosen candidate will be extremely reliable and have the ability to have control of a number of tasks/situations at one time.

Position Required
High school diploma / GED equivalent
1+ years accounting/bookkeeping experience
Proficient in QuickBooks
