Call Center Team Lead – Richardson TX

Our Richardson, TX client is on the hunt for a direct hire Call Center Team Lead to join their team.

Position Overview
This position is responsible for proactively managing inbound and outbound communication via phone and email to prospects that have expressed an interest and provided their contact information to our client.  This communication will be focused on obtaining relevant insurance information and scheduling a free consultation with our diagnostics team.

Essential Job Functions
Professionally answer telephone and internet inquiries to qualify prospective candidates.
Schedule prospective candidate for free consultation or a free seminar presentation.
Collect marketing, healthcare and finance information as directed by management.
Follow-up with prospects missing seminars or appointment immediately after the missed seminar or appointment and reschedule as appropriate.

Qualifications
It is essential that the individual have compassionate and encouraging conversations with prospects that quickly build confidence and urgency to attend a free consultations or seminars.
An individual must have superior communication skills (written and verbal) and also the good judgment to react and adapt basic call scripts to various questions from prospects in order to answer appropriately with fact-based information.

Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
Must be able to work an eight hour shift on a daily basis, some evening and weekend hours may be required during peak seasons.  A standard day is typically a 9-6 schedule, with some overtime required.
Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a team environment.
Ability to sit in front of a PC monitor for extended periods of time.
Excellent communication skills including the ability to speak, read and write fluently.
Working knowledge of MS Office products including Outlook, Word and Excel.
Must have experience leading a team in a call center environment. This will be the go-to person.

Preferred skills, but not required
3 or more years working in a call center environment preferably in a sales or lead generating capacity in which compensation was base salary + commission
Working knowledge of customer database systems
Basic understanding of the Healthcare industry gained from a combination of education and experience is highly preferred.
