Primary Job Function:

Experience:
3-10 years of construction EHS related experience.
Working knowledge of OSHA CFR 1926 standards.

Education/Training:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in EHS related field.
First Aid, CPR, OSHA 500 certification.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Enforce mandatory requirement of signed approval of all Bids, Estimates, and PO’s.
Establish and ensure the maintenance of and the accuracy of the financial records, control procedures, and reporting systems for the department. Maintains in good order, all records and files, and ensures the safe keeping of all company records.
Assists with the corporate strategic planning for the company and coordinates and approves a budget to support the planning that meets the company’s goals while making full use of the company’s assets in achieving budgeted earnings and sales.
Ensures that all company transactions are conducted in an ethical and prudent manner.
Maintains accurate records of all contracts that the company is obligated to and resolves any disputed invoices with vendors or suppliers in the best interest of the company.
Working with the Estimating Manager, ensures the timely, accurate production of competent daily, weekly, monthly, and other scheduled management reports.
Demonstrates good judgment in investigating problems and making decisions.
Analyze and evaluate all available financial / sales data and controls to inform the Estimating Manager of potential problem areas.
Analyze and evaluate all available financial data. Prepare reports and assist in the creation of action plans to correct any deviations.
Meets regularly with direct reports to ensure proper information flow and adherence to stated goals and objectives. Ensures that all reporting employees are active, and that waste and non-productive time are kept to a minimum.
Working with and utilizing the Estimating Manager to create, maintain, and improve company relationships with customers.
Establish financial terms and conditions for all new customers.
Ensures that all personnel actions are conducted within the policies and procedures of the Company, and they do not violate any state or federal laws.
Ensures the efficient and smooth coordination of activities among company staff.
Conducts himself/herself in a professional manner, constantly assisting personnel in the development of proper work habits.
Updates company policies and procedures, and ensures that all employees are aware of and adhere to the changes including signing of acknowledgements.
Maintain confidentiality and security of company, and customer.
Creating and maintaining a work environment that shows concern for the Company’s people as much as for its property and promoting the autonomy and growth of each individual employee to the level of their capability.
Ensures the ethical and prudent operation of the Company.
Ensure that all appropriate data is entered in the computer system for all new orders and that work orders are printed and complete
Submits various reports as required to the Estimating Manager in an accurate and timely manner.
Assist in preparation of proposals and pricing of accounts.
Analyze need and build material take offs.
Ensure that customer job files and other files are maintained in a neat and orderly manner.
Identify any special events within the company service area and obtain requests for proposals for these events. Prepare bids, submit and follow-up.
Ensures that all approved expenses are being monitored against the established and sign estimates.
Ensure that purchase orders are issued to vendors and/or suppliers as appropriate.
Work with the Estimating Manager to establish short-term plans and revenue objectives.
Any other duties and projects that may be assigned from time to time by the Estimating Manager.

Job Responsibilities:
The Customer Service Specialist will assist clients with any issues they might have regarding shipments of products, resolve product or service problems by clarifying the problem and explaining the best solutions to solve the issue.
Maintains a close relationship with clients by helping to resolve issues that are very unique to each and every order and shipment
Record and maintain account information in customer accounts by entering, proofing, and confirming orders to each client.
Handle paperwork processing following customer resolutions and be accountable for making sure every account has all the paperwork, tax information, and payment information in tact prior to shipment of order.
Audit customer satisfaction as well as motivate the repeat usage of company products.
Maintain product knowledge, quality focus, problem solving, market knowledge, documentation skills, listening, phone skills, resolving conflict, analyzing information and multi-tasking.
Motivate and assist the customer service team with the best resolutions for customer issues.
Greet clients who are picking up orders at the warehouse and making sure distribution fills the order correctly to the clients satisfaction.

Requirements:
5+ years in a Customer Service role is required.
Previous experience in the furniture or import/export industry is highly preferred.
Experience dealing with multiple product issues in a customer service role.
Knowledge of shipping and receiving logistics.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite with ability to learn new software quickly.
A professional phone voice is the key for this role.
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Ability to build and maintain good relationships with clients.
Team player willing to help with other duties outside of customer service responsibilities.
Strong work ethic.
