Our Dallas, TX client is looking for a Chain of Title Reviewers to add to their growing team on a permanent basis.
Examines complex chain of title for commercial properties requiring a high level of title expertise. Writes title commitments/reports based on the application of appropriate codes from the title code book. May have customer contact.
Duties:
Abstracting County records for commercial and/or residential properties in multiple counties.
Performs title examination of easy and/or moderate title orders requiring a moderate level of expertise.
Review title search reports and their documentation in a timely and thorough manner .
Verify that the information in the title search and accompanying documentation is accurate and complete so they can provide accurate title information to client data base.
Resolve any issues such as missing information, incomplete, inaccurate or contradictory information contained in the title documentation.
Abstract and analyze deeds, deeds of trust/mortgages, easements, judgments, tax assessments, mineral reservations, and other applicable instruments.
Verifying ownership and encumbrances of real property.
Preparing professional reports as required.
