Our Nashville, TN client is seeking a Client Relations Sales Assistant on a Consultative basis to join their team at the start of the “Design Partner” phase. This position will eventually grow into a full time sales consultant role. The consultant will search, develop and maintain client relationships to a target audience of CFO, CEO Board of Directors, Governance Chair and other senior executives at Fortune 500 companies and other large-cap enterprises like government agencies and universities.  He/she will be responsible for the database management system and other duties as assign.

The ideal candidate for this position is someone familiar with working in a developing organization; a self-starter who can help synergize the viewpoints of the development team members; a proficient on-line navigator and communicator, with the ability to grow the position into something larger.

The candidate will be hired on a ninety day trial basis, the first thirty days working from home, then migrating part-time to one of the company’s office suite environments.

The following is a list of high-level technical capabilities:

  • The company is operating in a PC driven environment where the need is for proficiency in all things Microsoft.
  • Salesforce.com will be the ‘CRM’ tool of choice during the ‘Design Partner’ phase.
  • A proven ability to integrate ‘Hoover’s’ data into Salesforce.
  • The ability to coordinate and lead the sales team (at all levels) in the CRM data integration.
  • Pipeline building and prioritization of interest.
  • The position is not about sales ‘per se’ but about sales administration and flow management. (The candidate with frontline sale experience will have an edge.)
  • Candidate will be required to have up-to-date computer, hardware and software (excluding the Hoover’s and Salesforce licenses).
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
  • 5 + years in executive administration
