Our client in Dallas, TX is looking for a Commercial Property Insurance Broker for a Direct Hire opportunity.  The client has a global presence with tremendous employee benefits and offers excellent quality of life.  This position offers relocation packages to qualified candidates across the US.  The selected candidate will have the following skill set:

POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible primarily for the marketing needs of large property clients under the general guidance of the unit manager

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinates the renewal of current client business by:
Providing renewal notice to account team and setting up renewal meetings
Requesting renewal quotes from present carriers
Updating and completing coverage analysis form
Reviewing work prepared by Technical Assistant
Delivering submission to new markets, reviewing quotes, and preparing proposal
Arranging for renewal presentation to client
May undertake responsibility for/with Unit Manager in new business marketing
Oversees the processing of business and has ultimate responsibility for accuracy of work
Independently prepares coverage analysis
Take lead role in writing new business RFP’s as it relates to property
Responds on a timely manner to the requests and needs of the client, producer, and unit manager
Makes positive contributions to customer satisfaction and constantly strives to improve service to customer
Communicates in a positive manner to contribute to a cohesive, pleasant work environment
Prepares written correspondence, reports, and analyses as needed
Attends unit meetings, educational workshops, carrier functions, staff meetings, and social events
Performs other work related duties as assigned

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor of Arts degree in business related program or equivalent education and/or experience
Substantial experience in marketing large shared and layered deals and servicing the insurance needs of commercial accounts
Firm technical understanding of commercial property coverages and services
Firm understanding of insurance carrier appetites
Current insurance license or ability to obtain it immediately
Ability to multi task effectively and work in a high paced environment
Ability to work both independently and part of a team
Excellent written and oral communication including delivering presentations to current and prospective clients
Demonstrate ability to instill confidence and comfort with clients
Wholly understands the concept, issues, and overall impact of market pricing
Understanding of commercial rating concepts
Understanding of risk management concepts and when they are useful to clients
Working toward the completion of CPCU or ARM, willingness to expand knowledge and effectiveness in insurance industry by successful completion of extended insurance education beyond continuing education requirements for licensing
Organizational and time management skills to prioritize heavy workloads to meet time sensitive deadlines
Ability to compile, analyze, and interpret financial information and data to facilitate decision making
Ability to travel by automobile and aircraft and to stay for more than one day and night
Demonstrates professional, tactful negotiation and persuasion skills to achieve objectives
Personal presence to interface with top management of other businesses representing client in the highest professional manner
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
