Our Nashville, TN client is searching for a Compensation Analyst for a Direct Hire opportunity.

JOB PURPOSE:
Coordinate and administer compensation programs ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. Assist in the design and implementation of a variety of compensation programs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Study and analyze all non-executive job levels within the organization, prepare job descriptions, evaluate jobs using established evaluation plan, determine grade and prepare documentation of the evaluation
Evaluate job worth using standard job evaluation techniques; determine grades and pay ranges
Assist in the development of incentive programs and the administration of performance review or merit-rating programs
Conduct and participate in salary surveys
Update the salary structure as needed
May develop, implement, and analyze compensation programs for sales personnel and/or executives
Evaluate existing programs by conducting research and analysis; develop recommendations
Maintain an on-going effort to ensure competitiveness, cost effectiveness, and equity of pay programs
Respond to employee questions regarding the compensation program
May assist with administration of other corporate programs such as relocation, tuition, substance abuse, etc.
Support Benefits Team with invoicing and programs
Remain current on all personnel policies, programs and practices and stay informed of new and pending laws and regulations
Perform all duties in accordance with safety rules and regulations
Perform other duties as necessary

Working knowledge of HR Compensation related federal and state rules and regulations

Education:
Bachelors Degree in Business or equivalent.

Experience:
2-4 years’ related experience.
Or any equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the key responsibilities of this position.
