Our Irving, TX client is seeking a Construction Project Manager on a direct hire basis.

Position Summary: Plan, direct, coordinate, or budget generator services, both planned and emergency with technicians and suppliers nationwide. Participates in the conceptual development of a service project and oversee its organization, scheduling, and implementation including but not limited to design, permitting, pre and post-service including close-out packages and field service reports.

Essential Functions of the Project Manager:
Schedule the project in logical steps and budget time required to meet deadlines
Determine labor requirements and dispatch workers or subcontractors to sites
Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers and subcontractors
Direct and supervise workers and subcontractors
Select, contract, and oversee workers and subcontractors who complete specific pieces of the project, such as generator, ATS, fueling, loadbanking, and other system services
Fill out all tasks that are performed on the Work Order Acknowledgement, discuss with the customer, and obtain their signature
Call and schedule with the customer all assigned work orders
Perform all needed repairs to power generators and fire pumps
Report work progress to the General Manager on a regular basis
Other related duties as assigned

Other Responsibilities:
Attend off site meetings and presentations with existing and potential clients throughout the United States as needed (approximately 1-3 times per year)
On-call 24x7x365 as we are an emergency power service provider

Education and Experience Required:
High school diploma or equivalent required, Associates or Bachelors degree highly preferred
2 – 3 years experience as a generator technician or generator service writer/dispatcher/supervisor
Technically inclined Electronic / Mechanical knowledge with problem solving capabilities
Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point proficient
Possess a team player attitude, with the ability to work with minimal supervision
Ability to prioritize, organize, and meet deadlines while multi-tasking
Professional personal presentation
Ability to interface with co-workers and customers through both written and verbal communication
