Our Austin, TX client is seeking a long term contract Project Coordinator.

Position Summary:
Coordinates projects between company’s headquarters and construction site for the purpose of successfully
Completing installation projects and meet schedule and budget requirements.
PROJECT COORDINATION 90%
Communicates and interfaces with customers’ and company project manager regarding schedule, product
Specifications, drawings, operational data, design issues, and general technical and safety questions
Communicates and interfaces with subcontractors and vendors regarding any communication needed to assure
Project performance with main emphasis on schedule and cost.
Communicates and interfaces with company project manager regarding invoices, purchase orders and insurance
issues.
Communicates and interfaces with company project manager regarding any issues or questions regarding
Project status.
Communicates and interfaces with customers regarding any issues on projects that require the customer’s input
and direction such as project status, delays and contract performance.
Reviews and produces information, provides data entry and files documents associated with various project
assignments (i.e., drawings, submittals/transmittals, CO’s, invoices, schedules, purchase requisitions,
component manuals, vendor literature, contracts, formal letters, etc.
Prepares project reports for project manager and customers as scheduled and requested.
Accurately, promptly and fully informs project manager regarding project status with particular regard schedule,
quality and safety.
Attends meetings regularly with customer to discuss items associated with project performance
OTHER & MISCELLANEOUS 10%
Seeks constant improvement, more efficient and less expensive ways and means in work processes.
Performs special projects and other miscellaneous duties as assigned by project manager
Maintains high ethical standards in the work place.
Reports all irregular issues and problems to project manager for solution.
Maintains good communication with project manager, office staff members and outside contacts.
Complies with all company policies and procedures.
Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working area.

Qualifications
Education & Work Experience
Bachelors Degree or equivalent; or four to ten years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination
of education and experience.
Tools & Equipment
General office equipment including phones, fax, copier, personal computer, scanner, etc.
Software includes the use of Windows operating system, MS Office (MSWord, MSExcel, MSProject)
May be required to use mechanical tools for starting up equipment.
Mobile communications equipment including laptop computer, cellular phone, etc.
