Contract Receptionist – Houston TX

Our Houston, TX client, located in the Midtown area, is in need of a Contract Receptionist for approximately 2 months.

The ideal candidate will provide general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks.

Answer main line phone, screen and direct calls, ensuring all calls are redirected accordingly
Providing information to callers, greeting persons entering the organization in a professional and friendly manner and directing individuals to their correct destinations
Receive, sort and forward incoming mail, packages and faxes
Maintain exact and complete sign-out/sign-in procedures for all visitors
Coordinate the pick-up and delivery of express mail services (i.e. FedEx, UPS, etc…)
Assist in the ordering, receiving and stocking of office and kitchen supplies
Organize, maintain and schedule conference rooms
Coordinate routine maintenance requests for the office and related equipment
Ensuring that common areas in office premises are equipped with required office supplies as appropriate
Assist with set-up and breakdown of company presentations
Perform other administrative duties such as photocopying, faxing and filing as required and/or requested
Various duties as assigned

Essential Attributes
Associate’s degree required, bachelor’s degree preferred
Minimum 2 years administrative experience
Polished and professional
Proficient in Outlook, Excel, and Word
Use of office products and office techniques (phone, copier, filing, etc.)
Experience using courier, USPS and Federal Express both locally and internationally
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Professional, friendly, and accommodating attitude
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Able to work successfully in a fast paced, high energy environment with changing priorities
Experience making travel arrangements would be helpful, but is not required
Use of imaging related technology would be helpful, but is not required
