Contracts Administrator – Austin TX

Our Austin client is seeking a Contracts Administrator on a direct hire basis:

Position Summary:
The Contracts Administrator will review and negotiate the terms and conditions in agreements with customers and suppliers.

Job Responsibilities:
Review, modify and negotiate equipment supply and service contract terms and conditions with customers and supplies.
Support other contract administrators, as needed or as requested by Senior Legal Counsel or Vice-President, Legal Affairs.
Support order entry function
Support departments regarding contractual issues and keep management informed of issues, problems and/or unique situation related to specific contract reviews and negotiations.
Write and edit various legal documents under the supervision of Senior Legal Counsel.
Administer Bid/Contract Sign-Off procedures.

Bachelor’s Degree Required.  A Juries Doctor degree from an accredited university is preferred.
A minimum of five years’ experience in the legal review and negotiation of commercial contracts.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret complex legal documents
Ability to conduct negotiations in aggressive, high intensity environments.
Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing in a professional and technical level and make formal presentations.
High computer literacy including strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and other MS Office products is required.
