Frontline Source Group – temporary staffing and direct hire firm – is looking for a Customer Service Representative for our client in The Woodlands, TX on a Direct Hire basis.

Your role with the company:
The Customer Service Specialist is a very visible role within the company.  The primary responsibility is working with client companies through the order process from beginning to end.  This includes setting up accounts, verifying shipment dates, make changes to orders as necessary, and communicating with all parties (internal and external) to ensure an optimal experience.  This level of contact with customers requires someone who is very analytical, an independent problem solver, and is customer-minded while at the same time keeping the company’s best interest in mind as well.  As this role works with multiple departments internally, someone who is skilled in relationship building and fostering teamwork is ideal.  Additional duties include developing customer relationships, investigation into customer complaints to resolution, and monitoring and expediting shipments.
This is an environment where everyone’s work is highly visible which promotes a great team environment.  The Customer Service Specialist works closely with Logistics, Sales, Finance, and Supply Chain teams as well as direct contact with external customers.  It is this unique structure that allows ones career to grow in other areas where they show aptitude.

Background profile:
4 year degree is required for this position
2-5 years of experience in a Customer Service role
Exposure to supply chain and transportation is a plus
Bilingual in Spanish is also a plus
Working knowledge of SAP or a major ERP system is a plus but not required
Strong time management skills, effective communication and problem solving abilities are also necessary given the pace of this department and organization
