Our NW Houston, TX client is in need of a Development Engineer II or III for a direct hire opportunity.

Summary:
This person will must have piping and welding knowledge and will be working in a manufacturing environment on large customized loading arms. The main responsibilities will be to review products, look for opportunities for improvements, customize product based on customer specifications and create BOM’s and views and enter in SAP.
Development Engineer II or III will depend upon experience, skills, knowledge, education, performance and contribution.
Knowledge of moment calculations (performs moment calculations)
Required skills:
Must have a Mechanical Engineering degree
Must have 3D CAD experience
Must have knowledge of applicable standards: ASME, B16.5, OCIMF
Must have knowledge of seismic, wind loads, OTM
Must have terminal pipelines and distribution process
Must have 5 or more years of experience
Needs to have strong piping knowledge
Project management experience
Knowledge of application, hands on experience with product
SAP experience
Must have applicable knowledge of manufacturing processes such as welding, assembly and testing
Must be very detail oriented
Comfortable working with customers in the field/travel
Able to work in an unstructured dynamic environment
