Our DFW, TX client is seeking a Director of Business Intelligence and Analytics on a direct hire basis.

The Senior Director of Business Intelligence and Analytics will be the leader in the organization for reporting and ad hoc business performance within the Company Global organization.  The Director will ensure that the basic reporting and performance analytical needs (daily, weekly, monthly) are met while ensuring that the team is able to support deep dives into the key metrics of the business. This role is a global role and will be support Company’s businesses globally as well as all of the functional units (product, marketing, business, finance, media, partner marketing, etc).

Responsible for reporting / dashboard framework and execution within the organization
Understand and support the different reporting needs of the different business and functional units globally
Ensure the metrics provided are accurate and encompass the different data sources available within the organization
Take performance measurement / analytics beyond click-stream analytics including financial system of record and call center consolidations
Develop a world class analytical team that supports both the automated reporting and deep dive analysis
Work with the different functional units to ensure that their data needs and models are supported in the overall analytical framework
Be a thought leader in the organization on performance measurement, work with team to ensure they are measuring their business / function optimally
Partner with the Director of Site Optimization and Analytics Product Management to ensure the analytics product roadmap is positioned for Company’s success in the future
Understand and partner with IT on a long term Big Data strategy, act as the champion of Big Data within the organization

Bachelors degree or equivalent required
10+ yrs experience in performance measurement / analytics
Understanding of different analytical tools and how they are leveraged within an organization
A track record in building successful performance measurement / analytics organization
Ability to establish influential relationships internally and externally
Ability/interest in working in a fast paced, dynamic environment on multiple priorities simultaneously
Passion to win; results oriented
Strong leadership and managerial experience and abilities
Ability to think and act independently as well as collaboratively
Excellent written and verbal presentation and communication skills
Excellent analytical and strategic skills
Proficient at process- and change-management, problem solver
