Our Franklin, TN client is seeking an Estimator for their sales office on a contract to hire basis. 

The Inside Sales and Estimation Specialist will be an integral member of the sales team and will work across all phases of their sales cycle and across multiple client accounts each with multiple concurrent projects.  This position requires the ability to be highly organized, multitask, and communicate clearly with customers.

Estimator Job Qualifications:
Strong organizational, time-management, and planning skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to function in a highly procedure-based environment and adapt to procedural changes.
Ability to learn and build expertise on technical specifications and provide guidance to customers on learned material.
Positive attitude and ability to think creatively to find mutually beneficial solutions to customer issues.
Ability to multi-task across several sales phases, clients, and projects.
Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
Expertise in cost estimation of material and fabrication labor requirements.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
2+ years experience in a sales or customer service function.

Estimator Job Preferred Qualifications:
Proficient in AutoCAD or other CAD software.
Experience with database and/or MRP/ERP software.
Experience with conveyor system design and/or installation.
Experience with conveyor equipment and/or platform design and/or manufacturing.
5+ years experience in a sales or customer service function.
Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or other technical field (Preferred but not a Must)

Estimator Job Duties:
Get the job done, whatever it takes
Create conveyor system project proposals based on customer bid documents.
Estimate fabrication costs for new or custom products based on raw material cost and labor requirements.
Provide technical support to customers.
Manage multi-phase projects through ordering, engineering, production, and shipment.
Assist customers with field issues.
Provide post-sale support including maintenance information, warranty, and replacement parts sales.
