Prepares shop drawings for aluminum curtain wall systems utilizing AutoCAD 2012 LT.
AutoCAD drafters and designers prepare blueprints and drawings used to design aluminum curtain wall structures, and parts and products which will be manufactured or created at a later date for same.
This type of work involves creating technical details to specify dimensions, materials and sometimes procedures required to complete an aluminum and glass curtain wall project.
Shop fabricators and field erection crews utilize these drawings to successfully complete a project.
Requirements:

Design and develop optical systems for forward lighting and signal lighting utilizing standard light sources, such as filament bulb and HID, and new light source technologies, such as LEDs, combined with light guide, lens, or reflector optical solutions.
Develop optical systems to meet customer specifications and federal regulations.
Optical design development for lighting products should be in accordance with the various phases of a program schedule, i.e. feasibility, design, design verification, certification, production launch.
Must have experience in the following areas:
Lens design for optimal optical performance given a variety of inputs including luminance distribution, manufacturability, cost and aesthetics.
Performing light level analysis using software tools to determine compliance to customer specifications and writing corresponding test reports.
LED selection
Operating optical test equipment
The selected candidate should have practical experience with optical modelling, simulation and design using tools such as Light Tools, ZEMAX, or similar modelling tools is required.
The selected candidate should have experience with device prototyping and characterization.
Other areas of experience that would be a plus:
Thermal analysis
3-D mechanical design using Pro-E, Solid works, Solid-Edge or other 3-D software
Familiarity with industry standards for lighting.

Develops Firm cost information for new plans and makes recommendations to management concerning sharing of cost between Firm, employee, and Partner.
Keeps abreast of changes in benefits regulations and trends. Apprises management of benefits issues and concerns, and ascertains Firm needs.
Installs approved new plans and changes by preparing announcement material, booklets, and other media for communicating new plans to employees/Partners. Conducts employee/Partner meetings and arranges for enrollment of employees/Partners in optional plans. Conducts employee/Partner benefit seminars. Assures Firm compliance with provisions of Employee Retirement Income Security Act and the Internal Revenue Code. Supervises preparation of reports and applications required by law to be filed with federal and state agencies, such as Internal Revenue Service, Department of Labor, insurance commissioners, and other regulatory agencies. Reviews and analyzes changes to state and federal laws pertaining to benefits, and reports necessary or suggested changes to management. Coordinates Firm benefits, with government sponsored programs.
Assures organizational compliance with provisions of Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act.
Assures that existing and new benefit programs are adaptable to standardized computer and reporting systems. Develops benefit information and statistical and census data for actuaries, insurance carriers, and management.
Handles benefit inquiries and complaints to ensure quick, equitable, courteous resolution. Maintains contact in person, and by phone or mail, with hospitals, physicians, insurance companies, employees/Partner, retirees, terminated employees and beneficiaries to facilitate proper and complete utilization of benefits for all employees/Partners.
Supervises maintenance of benefits records. Supervises maintenance of enrollment, application, and claims records for all benefit plans.
Develops and monitors functional area budgets to ensure efficient utilization of resources. Plans and directs the achievement of area goals and objectives within established company policies.
Maintains adequate staffing levels to ensure proper administration of activities.
Qualifications:
Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 4 years of progressive experience in benefit plan administration or a Master’s degree in Human Resources
Administration and 5 years of progressive experience in benefit plan administration. Any
appropriate combination of education and experience. CEBS or equivalent certification strongly desired.
Should have strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint). Knowledge of the Benefits portion of an HRIS system strongly desired.
Should possess the ability to communicate, persuade and/or influence internal and/or external clients at a high level such as senior management on matters of a technical and/or complex nature. Must have the ability to perform analyses involving ratios, percentages and simple statistical methods. Requires the ability to operate in a team and also independently.
