Our Austin, TX client is seeking a Financial Analyst on a Direct Hire basis.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the insurance industry as an analyst completing reports, forecasting, and preparing financial plans.
Primary Responsibilities:
Track financial status by monitoring variances from plan
Determine financial status by comparing and analyzing plans and forecasts with actual results
Improve financial status by analyzing results and variances; identifying trends; recommending actions
Reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting data
Increase productivity by developing automated applications; eliminating duplications; coordinating information requirements
Provide information to management by assembling and summarizing data; preparing reports; making presentations of findings, analyses, and recommendations
Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations
Accomplish finance and organization mission by completing related results as needed
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
5+ years experience Financial Analyst and Senior Accountant role role
Advanced skills in MS Excel; experience working with Yardi is a big plus
Additional Finance experience with the following: Reporting Skills, Financial Skills, Forecasting, Corporate Finance, Financial Diagnosis, Financial Software, Analyzing Information , Statistical Analysis, Process Improvement, Financial Planning and Strategy
