Frontline Source Group – temporary staffing and direct hire firm – is looking for a HR Generalist for our Central Austin, TX client on a direct hire basis.
Job Summary:
The primary responsibility of this position will be delivering all facets of recruitment successfully. This role will also be responsible for the day-today operations of Human Resources, including benefits administration, employee relations
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute recruitment plans.
Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.
Post openings in newspapers, with professional organizations, and in other position appropriate venues.
Conduct pre-screen interviews and assist in performing reference and background checks for potential employees.
Interview and select candidates on site.
Write and forward rejection letters.
Preparing and sending offer packages and new employee orientation packages.
Assist employees and Management with HR-related inquiries
Coordinate internal job postings and interviews
Carry out terminations and layoffs
Compliance with employment regulations, including FMLA, FLS, ADAA, and EEO
HR reporting and analysis
Personnel recordkeeping
Employee Relations
Benefits Administration
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience
3+ year’s Generalist experience preferred
Experience working with local colleges for recruitment
Knowledge of fair employment legislation, regulations, and benefits administration
Flexible attitude with the ability to cope with constantly changing priorities
Ability to respond quickly to recruitment requests
High level of personal and professional integrity
Motivated to learn and take responsibility for own personal development
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills
