Our Nashville client, a growing company, is looking to hire an HR Generalist-Recruiting on a long term contract basis. The position will be 3-4 days a week (25-32 hours a week).

Duties:

– Lead companywide professional recruiting effort for local and nationwide positions

– Handle employee relations activities, including recruiting and termination.

– Make recommendations and possible course of actions for policies and procedures as needed; primarily in regard to recruiting

– Verify rehire eligibility to management.

– Oversee HR recruiting support staff

– Prepare and lead new hire orientation

– Travel to other markets as needed for recruitment efforts

– Assist in other HR duties as needed.

Qualifications:

– 10+ years of verifiable HR generalist experience.  Must be very strong in professional recruiting

– Strong knowledge of MS Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).

– Outstanding communication skills are a must!

– Bachelors degree and PHR certifications are preferred, but not required.
