Our Wimberley, TX client is seeking an HR Generalist for a Direct Hire opportunity.
Summary:
This person will be handling all of the HR responsibilites for two different locations: one in Spicewood and one in Wimberly with approximately 80 total employees. Most of the work will be done out of the Wimberly location, but travel between the two on a weekly basis is required. Will handle all Recruiting, Training & Development, Benefits, Employee Relations and HR Administration. Reports to HR Manager located in Houston, TX.
Duties:
Employee Relations: Will be responsible for all Employee Relations for the site
Recruiting : Full recruiting cycle, including: advertising, screening, selection of candidates, communication with hiring managers, pre-employment processing and new hire orientation/on-boarding.
Training & Development : Will train employees on policies, procedures and other HR topics as they arise
Administration: Responsible for maintaining personnel files and processing of new hire paperwork as dictated my law and company policy
Benefits : handle open enrollment; keep current employees informed of changes to current benefit package
Requirements:
Bachelors degree or higher
PHR preferred, but not required (will be given the opportunity to become certified through tuition reimbursement program)
Strong Microsoft Office skills
Must be a true generalist, with experience in Recruiting, Employee Relations, and Training & Development at a minimum
Experience working with Recruiting database and/or HRIS
HR background in the medical industry is preferred, but not required
Must be able to work well as a team member without having direct oversight
