Our Plano, TX client is seeking an HR Generalist on a direct hire basis. Must be very well rounded in HR knowledge with experience working for a smaller company.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Posting and advertising open positions
Screening, evaluating and recommending applicants for interviews.
Participating in interviews and assisting staff members in identifying and creating job related interview questions.s a
Checking applicant references, making job offers and initiating needed paperwork.
Preparing and maintaining job documentation and job evaluation.
Drafting offer letters for new hires.
Administering and explaining benefits to employees.
Recommending, developing, and scheduling development and training courses.
Participating in development and execution of orientation programs and procedures for new employs.
Reviewing employee complaints and ensuring accurate and timely documentation of concerns or issues.
Facilitating actions to resolve the employee issues and escalating them to appropriate management team.
Handling safety, including safety training of employees
Understanding of the state and federal employment laws

Qualifications:
5 yrs of HR Generalist and Recruiting
College degree preferred

Excellent recruitment mentality and interviewing skills, good judgment of character with strong instincts in hiring.
Dynamic, intuitive, genuine, positive and very approachable
Understanding of TX labor laws, compensation, benefits, policies, safety training and legal compliance
Experience with web-based ADP Workforce Now system a plus
Excellent interpersonal & communication skills.
Must be flexible and able to go with the flow and deal with constant changes, easy going temperament
Great at multi-tasking

Intermediate skill level with Microsoft Excel and Word.
Basic writing, reading and arithmetic skills.
Strong level of influence and negotiation skills.
