Our Fort Worth, TX based client is seeking a contract to hire HRIS Specialist.

Job Summary:

  • Administers and analyzes the Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) to ensure adequacy of the information to the contract and its management.
    Principle Accountabilities

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Oversees HRIS application and related functionalities
  • Assists with limited table set-ups
  • Audits HRIS PeopleSoft data to ensure end users adhere to standards   Monitors procedures required to standardize and record personnel transaction in an accurate and timely manner
  • Administers Human Resources Information System data entry for assigned Human Resources (HR) function ensuring approved documents have been received and comply with company policies and employee laws
  • Ensures compliance with company policies, procedures and other practices set forth by upper management or contract requirement
  • Audits assigned HR function for compliance with internal and external policies and legal guidelines.
  • Monitors users’ post-training data quality
  • Reviews and approves user security based on user’s position and organizational relationship

Other/ Additional Responsibilities:

  • May investigate and resolve system related issues, problems and concerns for users.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Reports to:

  • HRIS Director

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Knowledge of human resource laws, regulations and administration.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications.
  • Strong analytical capabilities for HRIS and PeopleSoft HRMS 8.9.
  • Training experience a plus.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work assignments, work with little supervision and work well under pressure.
  • Excellent oral and verbal communication skills, effective leadership and interpersonal skills.

Experience & Education:

  • High School Degree or equivalent
  • Typically, two (2) years to four (4) years experience working with information systems and human resources.


Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
