Our client in Irving, TX Is looking for a HRIS Administrator :

The HRIS System Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day management, utilization and delivery of the Learning Management (LMS) and Applicant Tracking (ATS) Systems and will serve as subject matter expert regarding LMS administration and ATS administration best practices. This role is responsible for ensuring continuous operation and maintenance of the LMS and ATS to serve in the delivery of learning opportunities, performance management and recruiting processes.  The HRIS System Administrator will also assist in the identification, development and implementation of learning, performance and recruiting system policies.

30% Serves as the main point of contact and system expert for field system administrators and coordinates field communications regarding system upgrades and changes.  Includes working with administrators on how to best utilize the functionality of the LMS or ATS
40% Maintains the integrity and effectiveness of the Systems by managing and completing changes to the setup and configuration
15% Stays familiar with latest functionality and technology of the systems.  Works with end users to test new versions of the system.
15% Independently manages relationship with software vendors and communicates system issues and enhancement requests. Uses discretion and makes decisions regarding resolutions of system issues and implements software or database fixes. Tracks, prioritizes and manages enhancement requests with the vendor and obtains scheduled release dates.
Responsible for the timely resolution of complex issues reported by Tier 1 support, customers and employees.
Ability to work with system experts, internal and external, on hardware and software issues
Excellent organizational, trouble shooting and problem solving skills.
Proven ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Ability to balance multiple tasks and set priorities while performing effectively under pressure

Minimum Qualifications
College Degree  Required, particularly in Information Systems or Computer Science
At least 5 years of related experience; 1 to 2 years experience in energy industry preferred. Must have strong customer service, organizational, interpersonal and influencing skills, strong computer skills, including the ability to organize and effectively provide responses and prioritization abilities.
Experience with SABA or other Learning Management system; experience with Taleo or other Applicant Tracking System.
Understanding of information technology and relational database applications
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-service oriented collaborative team environment
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including ability to communicate effectively with associates to troubleshoot and address technical and process issues.
Ability to build relationships across the organization and work with all levels in the organization.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
Exemplary customer service skills as well as the ability to positively influence across all departments at all levels
