Our client in Plano, TX Is looking for a Human Resources Generalist . The selected candidate will have the following skill set:
The Human Resource Generalist manages the day-to-day operations of the Human Resource office. The HR Generalist manages the administration of the human resources policies, procedures and programs. The HR Generalist carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas:, employee relations, training and development, organizational development, and employment.
General Duties:
Responsible for administering human resource policies and procedures.
Assists in the development of policies and procedures.
Act as an employee advocate and as a company representative in balancing company policy, process, and culture, with employee needs.
Coordinate the recruiting, interviewing and hiring processes. This includes background checks and reference checks.
Manages new hire on-boarding and orientation.
Perform various duties in support of HR.
Requirements:
Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or PHR certification
Three to five (3-5) years experience in Human Resources, preferably in a start or high tech environment.
Demonstrated experience in the area of Employee Relations.
Knowledge of Federal and State Employment Law.
Must possess strong problem solving skills and be detail oriented.
Excellent communication and organizational skills to effectively deal with all levels of management.
Proficient with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Excellent oral, written and presentation skills.
Must remain confidential regarding all departmental maters.
