Our Nashville,TN client is looking for a full time Medical Billing Director to join their team on a temp to hire basis.

Maintains revenue by establishing, implementing, and controlling billing system; supervising staff. Successfully manages, directs and monitors billing and reimbursement activities.

Duties:
Liason between billing staff, clinic providers, and management team.
Acts as a resource to all departments regarding billing questions and concerns.
Directs and supervises the billing operations to ensure patient accounts are accurately prepared, billed and collected within acceptable time limits.
Accomplishes billing human resource objectives by selecting, training, scheduling, coaching, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations, monitoring, appraising job contributions and recommending compensation actions; adhering to policies and procedures.
Meets billing operational standards by contributing billing information to strategic plans and reviews.
Implements production and customer service standards.
Manages workflows and performance to meet revenue, quality and efficiency targets.
Resolves problems and identifies billing system improvements.
Meets billing financial standards by providing annual billing budget information and monitoring expenditures.
Approves and monitors billing expenses.
Assists with the development of new procedures of all new billing ventures.  Maintains contacts with third party agencies and other health care facilities, etc. to establish network.

Qualifications:
Must have billing supervisory experience with responsibility of complete revenue cycle.
Minimum of 5 years related medical billing experience
Training in ICD 9 and CPT coding
Need to know EClinical software programs
Must have primary or urgent care background
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints
Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and Board of Directors.

Positive attitude and team-oriented leader
