Our Plano, TX client is seeking a Receptionist for their Physicians Office on a Direct Hire basis.  Main duties consist of answering phones, filing, scheduling patient appointments, and other duties.

Duties:

-Answering phones, transferring calls, and taking messages

-Filing medical charts and records in alphabetical order

-Back-up for medical records

-Prepare new patient charts

-Verify insurance and authorizations

-Collect payments, provide receipts, and handling cash drawer

-Customer Service: provide patients with great service, maintain a positive and friendly attitude, provide patient with appropriate appointment times, answer billng questions, and communicate effectively with physicians and other staff.

-Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

-High School diploma or equivalent work experience is required

-2 years receptionist experience in a medical/healthcare office

-Proficient with MS Office Suite

-Excellent time management and team player mentality

-Multi-tasker
