Our Irving, TX client is looking for a CCNA Engineer on a direct hire basis.
Job Responsibilities include:
The basic scope of work includes: planning, implementing, verifying and troubleshooting local and wide-area enterprise networks and working collaboratively with specialists on advanced security, voice, wireless and video solutions for high enterprise and medium size end users.
Involves customer service calls and working with field techs to solve problems at customer sites.
Job Requirements:
College degree a plus
Excellent verbal communication skills, client facing position
Must have current CCNA Certification at a minimum. CCNA voice, CCNP and CCVP will also be considered. Routing and switching a plus.
Must have 3-5 years of experience with Cisco technologies
Expert Microsoft background needed
Extensive NOC experience 4+ years
Professional appearance is a must
Must have the ability to work on medium-sized networks
Solid background with QoS, broadband, VPNs, and security-oriented features a plus
