Our Houston, TX client is in need of a Salesperson
Job Description:
To develop Exploration and Production Companies, Oil & Gas Equipment Manufacturers and owner accounts with Business activities focused in the global Oil & Gas market. Accounts such as Conoco Phillips, AnadarkoPet, EOG, Marathon, Petrohawk, Baker Hughes, Schlumberger, SM Energy, Newfield Exploration will be primary targets for the Houston Territory.
Development of these accounts will include establishing initial meetings, focusing on the engineering integrity of client company, and the constructability advantages through the use of thier products and services.
Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree from an accredited four-year institution. Bachelor of Science degree with concentration in, Engineering, Construction or Business is preferred.
5-10 years of work experience with at least a minimum of two-four years of successful sales experience within the Oil, Gas and Chemical markets to include experience developing Exploration and Production Companies.
A demonstrated knowledge of Oil, Gas and Chemical industry processes, industry standards and requirements. Understanding and appreciation of Total Installed Costs, construction schedules and risk assessment as related to industrial construction and product installation.
Familiarity with estimating, bid proposals, generation, submission, negotiations and project follow through.
Demonstrated ability to develop business from a value added perspective through generation of sales leads, presentations, and follow up.
Strong communication skills including oral presentations, written documentation and computer proficiency.
Willingness to do routine overnight travel
