Our client in Grand Prairie, TX Is looking for an Operations Supervisor:
POSITION SUMMARY
Plan, direct, or coordinate the work activities and resources necessary for manufacturing products in accordance with lean manufacturing, ISO standards, Safety and Environmental specifications.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Drive Lean Manufacturing, Safety, and Environmental process in production areas.
Prioritize, schedule and delegate work assignments.
Directly supervise the manufacturing staff to ensure timely and cost effective completion of all work and projects. Review schedules and production orders to make decisions concerning inventory requirements, staffing requirements, work procedures, and duty assignments, considering budgetary limitations and time constraints.
Review operations and confer with technical or administrative staff to resolve production or processing problems.
Hire, train, evaluate, and discharge staff, and resolve personnel grievances.
Coordinate, prepare and maintain production reports and personnel records.
Utilize lean manufacturing principle in analyzing production, quality control, maintenance, and other operational reports, to detect production problems.
Coordinate and ensure the production tracking and quality control systems are followed.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree (four year college or university) a PLUS. Must have GED or HS Diploma.
Experience: Four to ten years related experience
Computer Skills
Experience with manufacturing systems; Microsoft office suite
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Three shift operations must be flexible and able to work any of 3 shifts.
