Our Dallas, TX client is seeking an Oracle Hyperion Financial Management/FDM Administrator.  The position will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and effectiveness of the company’s Hyperion financial systems, including Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), Hyperion Financial Data Quality Manager (FDM) and Hyperion Financial Reporting.

Responsibilities:
Assess system requirements and design and implement solutions in support of the financial data analysis, financial reporting requirements as well as perform the necessary system changes during acquisitions and divestitures.
Build custom reports as needed.
Manage metadata and mapping changes.
Support system security and support/coordinate software updates and patches as needed.
Work closely with various levels within the company’s finance, accounting and information technology departments as well as external auditors.
Ensure proper change management, problem management, security management activities in support of the HFM/FDM environment.
Conduct end-user training and support testing activities.
Maintain SOX compliance.

Requirements:
7+ years of experience in Hyperion suite of financial systems, including Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), Hyperion Financial Data Quality Manager (FDM) and Hyperion Financial Reporting.
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field required.  Master’s Degree preferred.
Oracle Database Administration experience, HFM Administrator training.
FDM Administrator Training, Oracle Hyperion Certified Professional in Hyperion Financial Management and Hyperion Enterprise.
Solid experience developing required operational materials and documentation for operating Oracle HFM and FDM.
Solid understanding of FDM set up including mapping and processing of input files.
A basic understanding of GAAP and/or Financial Statement presentations.
Experience in supporting Accounting close processes.
Skilled in interpreting customer requirements and proactively turning them into solutions.
Solid experience working with relational databases.
Professional interaction with clients and vendors.
Build positive working relationships with employees at all levels within the organization.
Exercise sound judgment when making decisions.
Able to meet deadlines as necessary.
Effectively work with minimal supervision.
Strong Organization and Attention to Detail skills.
Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written.
Good problem solver/creative thinker.
“Can-do” attitude, pro-active and resourceful.
Highly proficient in 2007 or 2010 MS Office applications: Word, Excel and Outlook.


Preferred Job Qualifications and Skills:
Real Estate industry experience.
Financial consolidations with a public company.
Planning and analysis(Enterprise Performance Management) experience.
