Our Dallas, TX client is looking for a Warehouse Engineer to join their team for a one year contract position.
-Will be handling the day to day logistics of construction for a large commercial build
-Will work hand in hand with the construction foreman to insure construction stays on time
-Run the day to day operation of onsite warehouse in conjunction with the builders and architects
-Deal extensively with vendors and subcontractors
-Handle various office pieces of this position such as: working with financials in Excel, scheduling, planning, logistics, quotes, etc.
-Will be on site daily to ensure timeliness and accuracy of commercial build
-Must have prior construction and/or warehouse experience (2-5 years preferred)
-Eager and willing to learn and take on more responsibility
-Must have worked with Excel or a financial planning software in the past
-Must be good with people (extensive phone work with vendors and contractors)
– Prior experience driving/operating a fork lift is a PLUS, but not a requirement
-Will not be directly managing people, but leadership skills are a plus
