Our Brentwood, TN client is looking for a Patient Care Coordinator on a temp to possible basis.

JOB SUMMARY:
A welcoming disposition and both strong communication and interactive skills, as this person is the first employee to greet patients, visitors, answer phones, ascertaining their needs and directing them accordingly is the primary focus. Scheduling appointments and performing related clerical duties; entering information into eMD’s software and other programs; completing medical chart entries and preparing charts for filing. In addition, the position necessitates tremendous organizational skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to perform multiple tasks successfully. Computer skills and the ability to learn new programs quickly are beneficial to success in this position.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Greets visitors and patients, determines their needs
Train others on phone system and check office voice mail
Coordinate receiving incoming and shipping outgoing packages
Distribute mail and take outgoing mail to the mail box
Organize and maintain filing systems
Maintain archive of office records (minutes, vendor files, etc.)
Photocopy/fax/mail
Inform Clinical Coordinator office supplies if needed
Maintain office appearance (supply room, storage, kitchen, conference rooms, plants)
Run office errand
Act as liaison with Clinical Coordinator and Administrator
Verifies appointments and directs to proper person, office or clinic
Answers questions and gives information, directly to person or on telephone
Schedules patients for consults, evaluations, and treatments
Enters patient information into the eMD’s software.
Assist in filing charts if necessary
Orders and Coordinates DME services and equipment

REQUIREMENTS:
Graduation from High School or GED.
Two years receptionist experience with at least one year in a fast paced, clinic setting.
Two years computer experience, preferably in scheduling appointments and/or data entry.
Demonstrated ability to type 40WPM accurately with minimal errors.
Good communication skills
Able to work accurately and neatly
Good organizational skifis
Able to work without supervision
Good presentation and a pleasant manner
