We are seeking a Payroll Manager for our client in Austin, TX.
Payroll Manager and Payroll Clerk
The Payroll Manager will be responsible for:

Supervision of employees in payroll department (2)

Implementation of personnel and pay policies
-
Implementation and oversight of benefit plans including enrollment and distribution of employee benefit information.

Liaison with field offices to assure payroll is submitted correctly and all leave and PTO requests are in.

Liaison with Accounting for payroll expenses and audit
-
Maintain payroll master file records,
-
Manage time and attendance system
-
Ensure accurate and timely data input from the field offices to include auditing of payroll processes.

Manage year end closing activities.

Assure compliance with all Federal, State and Local tax rules and regulations.

Oversee the 401K to include enrollment, distribution, loan processes, annual testing and auditing.

Completing management reports for the executive team and field managers.

Participating as part of the management team
Qualifications;
-
Degreed individual must possess 5+ years experience managing multi-location payroll department or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be a self-starter and possess strong interpersonal skills and work ethic. Ultimate Payroll Software: Ultipro Payroll, Cognos Report-Writer and UltiTimekeeping experience preferred.

Certified Payroll Professional preferred.
