Our Plano client is looking for a Petroleum Engineer on a direct hire basis.This position will report to the Engineering Manager.
Summary of Position:
This engineer will be responsible for the overall operations of the wells from drilling to completions to production. The engineer will travel to the field, so candidates must be interested in a split between office and field work.
Manage and coordinate completions
Troubleshoot daily completion issues; supervise completion personnel and work with completion superintendents and other engineers to remedy problems
Evaluate and implement new completion practices and technologies to improve well performance
Review and approve expenditures for completion activities and make recommendations to reduce costs and enhance efficiencies
Understand and direct practices to improve and maintain a safe working environment
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering required
Must have 1-5 years of related experience
Oil and Gas experience required
Experience in a combination of Production, Completions, and Drilling
